What the heck is that?
Let me explain…
I combine my experience as a board certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialist and a background in functional nutrition and behavior change with my experience as a mom to 3 and a lifetime of managing my own chronic illness, to help mamas get their groove back after having kids.
I help mamas shed a light on what’s out of balance in their lives- from hormones to stress- and work towards the lifestyle that makes them feel amazing- like the badass mamas they are.
There’s a reciprocal relationship between our bodies and our lives. When either one isn’t in a healthy alignment unique to us, we notice symptoms.
In order to achieve our health goals, we often need to work on systems in both our lives and our bodies.
Why do I feel so strongly about this?
I have witnessed woman after woman- from patients to friends to family members- fight the good fight in effort to feel normal again. They do everything their doctors say they should do. Try this medicine. Go see that doctor. Count calories. Get more exercise. And when they get to the end of the list and STILL haven't seen a change… well, there's nothing else you can do but accept it - whatever your "it" may be.
We are brainwashed into believing that this is our "new normal."
